Cardiovascular knowledge networks to expand through new strategic distribution deals

Today Radcliffe Group, which brings the latest and best science, information, and knowledge to cardiovascular clinicians around the world, announced it has selected content distribution consultancy MEI Global, LLC (MEIG) to develop third-party licensing partnerships that will help medical practitioners, researchers, and innovators more easily and efficiently access Radcliffe’s unique content collection.

“Powerful research and creative innovation have always accelerated progress in health, but it’s the way that new ideas are shared that ensures positive change happens quickly and equitably,” says Leiah Norcott, Publishing and Editorial Director of Radcliffe Group. “Our industry-leading review journals Arrhythmia & Electrophysiology Review (AER), Cardiac Failure Review (CFR), European Cardiology Review (ECR), Interventional Cardiology: Reviews, Research, Resources (ICR³), US Cardiology Review (USC), Vascular and Endovascular Review (VER), and Journal of Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology (JAPSC), as well as our medical education materials in the Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic space, are always in demand by the medical community.” Norcott says, “With the partnerships we expect MEIG to create, we’ll make it faster and more convenient than ever to access Radcliffe’s highly regarded cardiovascular content, improving health care outcomes in the process.”

MEIG was founded to help publishers identify, negotiate, and grow their third-party distribution partnerships. Chris Broekhoff, MEIG’s president, says, “The landscape for content licensing is constantly changing. Without the time and resources to focus on redistribution partnerships, publishers can’t always optimize a complementary network of deals that ensure everyone interested in their content can find it.”

Says Broekhoff, “Medical professionals in the cardiovascular community around the world rely on Radcliffe’s content to refine their skills and shape best practice. Our dealmakers are excited for the opportunity to help broaden the reach of Radcliffe’s journals and continuing education materials, so that cardiovascular patients can get the best possible care.”
